I have known Kim since elementary school at James Madison. She was a sweet, funny girl, and at times quiet, but easily made friends. Kim was a pretty good baseball player in P.E. and earned the name Babe Ruth that was given to her by a classmate named Joseph Rios. She could hit one mean ball across the field of James Madison. We grew up in the same neighborhood, I lived on Monterey Street and she lived on Maple Street but all us kids back in the days all hung out even at "recreation" and the class clutter through our school days. I hadn't seen Kim for yrs after graduation, but knew she had married Bobby Montelongo and had children. Her son Jason and my son Eddie knew each other in school and played football together in High School. After Kims' death I learned that our birthdays are only a day apart, same year and that I'm a day older than her. When I think about Kim I see her smile and those deep dimples she had. Her memory will live forever. Rest In Peace My Friend.Cindy Accornero (Womack)
When I think of Kim I think of a wonderful, loving, warm, and caring person. Kim and I got together a couple of years ago on the central coast. Kim came to Pismo Beach for work and she gave me a call. It was so good to see her. She and I talked for hours and she recalled so many things that we had done as kids. We spent so many days together at my house while in junior high and high school. Her recall was wonderful! Much better than mine! We laughed and laughed remembering the things that we had done. I will never forget this time together in Pismo. I was truly sad to hear of her accident and I know for me I will never forget my friend Kim :)Tanya Ferguson (Sumner)
I too went to elementary school with Kim at Madison and remember her terrific slumber parties! I'll never forget how smart she was and yet she always thought she could do better~and that was WITH straight A's!!!! I was so saddened to here of her family's loss. Love to them all.Tambra Ogletree (Jones)
Kim and I met in high school, and we walked to school almost every morning freshman and some of sophomore year. I lived on Dunham St. and I would walk to her house and we would walk the rest of the way togeter. She was fun and we were friends throughout MHS days. She married so EARLY and I remember teasing her about that. I have not seen her in so many years - and I really felt that when I heard of her passing.Remember how she would kind of hide her laugh behind her hand - after she said something that totally cracked everybody up....! I am grateful for those times.

Now, I think I remember Kim from back in high school, although it's kinda hard to keep track
with everybody nowadays.
It's hard to believe she's gone.
