I know that Sharon has a profile w/pictures and stuff here in this site, and/or Classmates.com outlet, and I'm wondering if it will be deleted, or will it be saved and placed into a "shrine" or memorial, in this site and/or Classmates.com, in loving honor of her memory. I sensed all along that she would be called home to the Promised Land by Great Spirit, when I received news about her sudden illness.. But when our time comes to leave this world, we will all see her again on the "Other Side". My thoughts go out to the surviving family. Even though I haven't known her very well.... But at the same time, it's hard to believe that she's gone. :'( Rest In Peace, Sharon.

Danny Decker passed away Friday, February 13, 2009 after a lengthy illness. He was loved by many and fought a brave battle all these years. My prayers are with his parents Dan and Pat and his brother Mike and sister Diana.

I was saddened to hear about the passing of Danny. He was a kind and quiet person and he will be deeply missed. God bless his family at this time of such a great loss!
We have lost another member of the Class of 1978, with the passing of Rene Arredondo on Wednesday, July 22. His service is Tuesday, July 28, 9 a.m., at St. Joachim's Catholic Church in Madera. Click here for more info and to share your memories of Rene. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.
OMG...I can't believe he's gone. :'( I can remember Rene and his cute sister Lydia from way back in the 60's, at Monroe School. Too many good people are leaving us much too soon at such a young age, especially our friends and fellow alumni. I know in my heart and soul, we'll see them (including Rene) again in the Promised Land when it's time for us to answer the call of our Creator.
My thoughts and condolences go out to the surviving family in this sacred time of reflection.
R.I.P. Rene. When it's time for all of us to answer Great Spirit's call, we'll catch up on old times in Heaven. Meanwhile, wait for us in the Light.
~Reunion Of The Bee Gees~ Okay music buffs... Now, I'm sure we all remember the days of the disco era, especially one of the most popular groups of all time...The Bee Gees. Well, news has it, Barry and brother Robin are gettin' The Bee Gees back up and boogie'n again. However, they'll be performing as a duet. (Maurice Gibb passed on, about 3-5 years ago) It'll be nice to hear the group of our glory days of high school, perform again. ;) Cheers!
First of all, I'm sorry to hear of Sharon and Dan's passing, may they rest in peace. Rene's passing was also a shock, R.I.P. Rene. I would like to make a routine of checking into this website often to keep up with all of you. I'm blessed have made it this far in life and thank "GOD" for that. I recently had lunch with AKA Bell Carranza, Gloria Rascon, Elsa Chapa, Emma Sauceda, Ruby Granados & Peggy Llanes it was so nice to make time to have a meal together. Thank you, girls...I hope all my classmates are well and I wish you all a wonderful day!
Well bless my soul... Ana, it's so nice to see ya' come in and post in here. :) And yes, you've definitely marked a milestone by being the one to post the 100th post in the forum. Totally awesome! And not to be overlooked, Ana... I've added you to my Yahoo Messenger contact. I'm generally online in the afternoon and evening hours. Come on in and let's visit sometime. Cheers! ~Billy~
I too knew Rene and his sister Lydia. I'm sorry to know that I was in Madera around that time as well (due to a family members death), and wasn't aware of Rene's passing. R.I.P Rene and my prayers to his family.
Wishing my fellow alumni a safe and happy holiday season. I have to admit, 2009's been a wild-n-crazy year. Let's hope for better prospects in 2010. :) Cheers!

Now, although my date had to cancel due to a family emergency and I had no place to stay to attend the 35-year reunion event in 2013, I had to scrub the trip and wait for 2018.
Fast-forward to the present year of 2018 and I've got about 99.99999% of my transportation, revervation, and accomodation details ironed out and secured AND even a music gig secured at the cocktail party event at the Peters Brothers Nursery on the 28th (and maybe, just maybe, a bonus gig during the no-host cocktail before dinner and perhaps a set or 2 while the D.J. is on a break, on the 29th, at the main event), plus I've got my train fare, and so, I'm good-to-go.
Back in 2016, one of our classmates took a little jaunt to my neck-of-the-woods in Hamilton, MT and visited. Nick Faso is the first in our alumni to take a trip here to the Bitter-Root to visit. And it was a fabulous visit too, I might add. It was also the same time, we had the Roaring Lion Fire raging out-of-control, wreaking havoc to homes and out-buildings and choking the valley with haze and smoke.
I know in previous reunions, the weather was blistering hot. By having the event in the Fall, the weather should be a little more comfortable.
Meanwhile, I think it'll be a gas to set up my music gear and entertain the proud Class Of '78.
I might not necessarily have a date, but at least I've got the gig to keep me busy...
AND if there's a wi-fi outlet at any of the venues, I might live-stream via Facebook and bring the party to those whom are unable to attend....Just another cute idea I've been floatin' around.
Here's a video of my performance at the Ravalli County Fair's free-stage show:
