More sports stars among us! Congratulations to Kathy Haynes Gibson, Leslie Henson Garcia, Tambra Ogletree Jones and Lupe Varela, who were inducted into the Madera Sports Hall of Fame on May 1, 2010, as members of the 1976 Valley Championship girls volleyball team. Other teammates included Susan Erickson, Denise Bishel, Kristy Diebert Lakeman, and Suzanne Dee, all from the class of 1977. Head coach Linda Lucas was also on hand for the ceremony.
