I remember Phillip in High School but didn't know him. I had learned that he had become blind from being a diabetic and about 4/5 yrs ago passed away. May he rest in peace.
I think the last time I saw Luis was back in '77, or '78, when there was some kind of movie being shown at the high school theater. And thus, I don't remember if he graduated with the Class of '77, or with our alumni in '78. And even though I haven't known him very long, I'm gonna miss the guy just the same. R.I.P Luis
